Built in the mid 14th century. Edward III was king for about 50
years:
it is likely that two of the fine stone heads portray him (her was bearded) and
his wife, Philippa
Another interesting stone head is that of our hippo

interesting stained glass, including
three windows by Kempe.
The modern one is by Leonard Evetts (1969)
The roofs of the church were part of the Gilbert Scott restoration
and feature splendid carved angels.
Beautiful frontals are used on the altar Notice the
